 Reinberger's cities Service is located at the corner of Main and Duff streets.  Owned and operated by Edward H. Reinberger, the station was purchased by him [from Paul J. Jones] in June of 1952.  Reinberger was formerly assistant shop foreman in the Allen Motor company's service department.  The station features all of the Cities Service products. The Cities Service building was constructed in 1949 by Ben Cole and Son.  The plumbing was handled by Gibbs; sheet metal and furnace by Paul Jones; electrical by Nelson Electric; building materials by Munn Lumber and Hanson Lumber; and roofing by Cox. Reinberger's service station, located at the corner of Main and Duff streets, specializes in Cities Service petroleum products.  It is owned and operated by Edward H. Reinberger, who has been in the business since June of 1952.  Prior to that time, Reinberger was with the Allen Motor company for eight years in the service department.  A resident of Ames for the past 28 years, he was in the lubrication section at Allen's and was assistant shop foreman.  Reinberger is a veteran of World War II, in service with the army.

Reinberger's carries the complete line of Cities Service products, including gasoline, motor oils, tires, batteries, lubricants and other various related automotive items.  The station's services include such things as complete lubrications of all models and makes of automobiles, tire repair, battery service, car washing and minor auto repairs.

cities Service features the new "5-D Premium Gasolene" with five-dimensional performance, including anti-carbon, extra-high octane, anti-rust, anti-stalling and upper-cylinder lubrication features.  The company also produces a five-dimensional motor oil, the new "5-D Koolmotor 10W-30" which is perfect for use in every season.

AAA ROAD SERVICE

Reinberger's is an affiliate of the AAA Road Service, handling emergency service such as tire repair and gasoline supply.

A special service to patrons given by Reinberger's is Gold Bond Stamps.  These stamps are redeemable for wonderful merchandise items of all types with choices ranging from household appliances and kitchen ware to sporting goods and toys fro the children.  A Gold Bond stamp is given for each 10 cents of purchase.

Reinberger is helped in his business by his wife, Delores.  The firm also employs two part-time attendants.  Mr. and Mrs. Reinberger are the parents of two girls, Mary Kaye, 11, and Peggy Ann, 8.  The family belongs to the Bethesda Lutheran church.
