Temporary closure
The Ames History Museum building is temporarily closed until the expanded museum opens in summer 2024. While the building is closed during construction, AHM staff and volunteers will still be out and about, sharing the history of Ames! Look for more information to come about pop-up exhibits in the community, special lectures and tours, digital research resources, and more! We look forward to welcoming you to the new and improved museum building next year.
